Scenario: Continuing the investigation, Harley proclaims the butler was the murderer and he is taken away, screaming his innocence. Late that night, an unknown man takes the murder weapon and tries to place it in a bag, but is caught by Harley and Conan who reveal that they placed the blame on the butler to lure out the true culprit. The culprit reveals that he murdered the man because he tried to cancel the wedding and take his love away from him.

Scenario: Heiji and Kazuha visit Tokyo accompanied by Kogoro, Ran, and Conan. They run into the butler of Heiji's mother's late friend's family and are invited to their mansion. The son of the friend is getting married the next day. There a murder occurs and the butler is found dead in a locked room. It seems he was dragged to another room after being stabbed in the heart.

Episode 140: SOS! Message from Amy!

Scenario: One day, Ayumi is sick. She takes a day off from school and while she naps, her mother nips out from their apartment to do some shopping. When Ayumi wakes up, she hears noises from the front door. Excitedly, she runs to the door to surprise her mother as she comes in, but when she peeks through the peep hole, she finds that it isnt her mother at all, but a strange man with a ponytail fiddling with the lock. Terrified, she runs for the phone and tries to call the police, but her fingers are too slow, and as the door handle turns, in a frenzy of motion, she dives for a hiding spot and drops the phone in the process.

The robber, disguised as a deliveryman, enters and immediately sees the phone lying on the floor. It's very suspicious, why would anyone with such a well-kept home, drop their phone on the ground and not bother to pick it up? And so, he stalks through the house, looking around for someone that could be hiding, and then he sees it. The sleeve of a yellow shirt caught outside of a closed closet, a hiding place cliched because it is so great for hiding people in. With a malicious smile, hoping to find the hiding one, he throws open the closet door and Ayumi is not in the aforementioned closet. He then turns back and starts searching other rooms, while Ayumi was still inside, hidden under the bed.

She relocates to a closet, to afford herself more materials to communicate a secret voiceless message to Conan and as Mitsuhiko and Genta discuss their plan to surprise visit Ayumi at her apartment, she alerts Conan through his Detective Boys' badge. They hear the Yaiba clock declaiming the date and time and then, using a clever system of taps, she communicates that she can't talk, nothing is wrong and she was essentially prank-walkie-talkie-ing them.

Everyone is reassured, except for Conan. He thinks that prank-walkie-talkie-ing people is out of character for Ayumi and would be more of the kind of idiotic activity that Genta or Mitsuhiko would participate in. Haibara picks up on his worry for Ayumi, and she provides the key to the message that Ayumi was really communicating before being interrupted by Conan, who runs out of the classroom.

Episode 139: The Final Screening Murder Case (Part 2)

Scenario: After gaining sufficient evidence and reviewing Toshiyuki's video, Conan uses Dr. Agasa's voice to shed light on the matter at hand and reveals that Minoru is the killer. The Detective Boys recreate the murder while Conan elaborates how Minoru used the movie projector to fabricate an alibi. After killing Seiji offscreen, Minoru returned to the projection room and used the mirrors to reflect the light from one window to the other, which had Seiji's corpse hung in front of it. The air conditioner caused the corpse to sway. The entire incident is caught on Toshiyuki's camera; after the shadow was shown, the film was shaky and knocked out of focus due to Minoru moving the mirror back to its original window. Yuriko went to the bathroom to use the mirror because there were none in the projection room, unintentionally giving Minoru and his methods away. Minoru confesses that he was driven to murder due to Seiji being the cause of low patronage. Before he leaves, Minoru asks to finish the final screening of the theatre for the Detective Boys. In the end, Akio decides not to sell the theatre, as the children reminded him the magic of theatres.

The clerk went to fix her contact lenses. Takagi comes in explaining that the Victim owed a large sum of money. Agasa comes by to pick up the children, but Ayumi, Haibara, and Conan were still inside with the girls going to the bathroom while Conan walked around. Conan comes to an conclusion while looking in the bathroom mirror after Haibara parted some words, he runs into the theater and finds a clue in the pile of cigarettes' where Haruta was sitting as well as a footprint. Conan goes to Agasa and explains what he has discovered, though it is never said to the viewer. When Conan goes to whisper to Agasa the kids come in saying how rude he is (how about how rude they are for eavesdropping?) Tagaki tells Meguire about what Haruka's neighbors had to say, that he was in a bad mood because of his debts and that he was arguing with the bank. Its revealed that the theater hasn't been sold yet. As the suspects keep saying that it was a suicide, the lights go dark and Agasa appears in the window, having repeated the 'trick the murderer has conspired today'.

When the movie playing scene, Seiji is dead by hanging as the Pendulum Clock.

Scenario: The Detective Boys, accompanied with Dr. Agasa, attend the final opening day of a theatre as it is about to be demolished. They meet the theatre owner, Akio Muramatsu, and his employees Minoru Furuhashi and Yuriko Tomosato. Seiji Haruta, a sadistic real estate agent, arrives and announces his plan to tear the theatre down to make way for new business. During the second Gomera film, Seiji begins terrorizing patrons until an unseen character attacks him from behind; his gasp go unnoticed due to the loud volume. Haibara feels a cool breeze, college student Toshiyuki Ide is caught bootlegging the film, and a shadow is cast in front of the screen. When the lights turn on, Seiji is found hanging in front of the projector. Conan finds clues to declare murder but everyone has a strong alibi. When Mitsuhiko proclaims he saw Yuriko looking at herself in the mirror, Conan believes there is more to her story than she is willing to speak on.

The Detective Boys attend the final opening day of a theatre as it is about to be demolished. They plan to watch three films of Gomera, a parody of Godzilla. During the second film, the man who bought and planned the demolishing of the theatre is found hanged. The four suspects are the theatre clerk, a photographer, theatre manager, and projector technician. The episode ends with Mitsuhiko proclaiming he saw the theatre clerk looking at herself in the mirror.

Scenario: Haibara leads the investigation and is accompanied by the Detective Boys. They enter the same secret passage as Conan did and wander out of another one. Genta and Mitsuhiko are captured by the culprit. Haibara and Ayumi continue further into the abandoned tower and discover the corpse belonging to the grand mistress. After a lengthy chase, Haibara puts the pieces together and reveals the culprit to be Mutsumi Nishikawa. She murdered Mrs. Mamiya, the others, faked her death, underwent plastic surgery, and assumed Masuyo's identity after finding her dead, just to search for the hidden treasure in the castle. Mutsumi grabs the girls and tries to kill them. Conan, Mitsuhiko, Dr. Agasa, and Genta appear. After reuniting with everyone, Conan reveals the location of the treasure, which literally is the castle holding a beautiful scene over the valley. Mutsumi, completely devastated and realizing the time and magnitude of her crimes, comes into terms that she wasted 10 years and killed a huge number of people just for this. She is later arrested.

Genta is kidnapped while in the secret passage.

When nighttime comes, Haibara investigates freely and is accompanied by the Detective Boys. They enter the same secret passage as Conan did and wander out of another secret entrance. Genta remains trapped in the passage and captured by the culprit.

Ayumi was followed by someone upon her entering the tower. Luckily Ai saved her by hiding themselves inside a secret tunnel.

Mitsuhiko investigates the doorway to the castle's tower and disappears. Haibara and Ayumi investigate the abandoned tower of the castle and find the culprit using a secret entrance connected to the castle.

Episode 136: The Old Blue Castle Investigation Case (Part 1)

Conan finds a clue to the treasure and enters a secret passage but is attacked by an unknown assailant.

Scenario: The Detective Boys are on a camping trip but Dr. Agasa forgot the tent. They wander to a castle owned by Masuyo Mamiya, meet Katsuo Tabata, Mitsuru Mamiya, Takahito Mamiya, and learn that there's a secret treasure somewhere inside. Conan finds a clue to the treasure and enters a secret passage but is attacked by an unknown assailant.

Five years ago, Ms. Mamiya the eldest daughter of Mamiya Family returned from oversea to celebrate her mother, Masuyo, birthday. However that night, she and several friends, long time servants and one of Masuyo's maid were burned to death by a fire.

The group searches for Conan but stop to eat dinner. It is there that Mitsuru tells them about the tower that burned to the ground; Mrs. Mamiya, her friends, some servants, and Mutsumi Nishikawa, one of Masuyo's maids are among those who died in that fire. A rumored curse was placed by Mrs. Mamiya with fatal consequences to those who went near the tower. As such, Mitsuri's assistant went to investigate and starved to death after becoming lost in the forest. Agasa is about to call the police to investigate but is knocked out by the culprit. Mitsuru Mamiya is actually the second husband of the eldest Mamiya daughter.

Mitsuru Mamiya's assistant explored the burnt tower two years ago, but never returned. Ten days later, the assistant was found starved to death in the nearby forest. The police ruled the assistant's death as accidental from becoming lost in the forest. After this discovery, maids working at the castle spread the rumor that the assistant died of a curse by the mistress and the others who perished in the fire.

The Detective Boys, Haibara, and Agasa begin searching for Conan but have no luck. Pausing their search, the group eats dinner and discusses the chess pieces in the garden and the mystery treasure in the castle. During dinner, Mitsuru tells the group about the burnt tower and about a supposed curse that has resulted in the tower being locked.

Peeking in the opening to a secret passage while looking for Conan, Agasa is attacked by the same culprit who attacked Conan.

After dinner, Agasa and Haibara realize that something must have happened to Conan to prevent him from contacting anyone. Agasa is about to phone the police to investigate but upon seeing Conan's hat in the hallway, he is lured to an opening in the wall.

Episode 135: The Disappearing Weapon Case

Scenario: The Junior Detective League accompanies Amy Yoshida to Mitsue Mika's, her barber, apartment for a haircut. They discover that Mika died after being strangled by an unknown culprit. While the police investigate, Conan notices the blue plastic on Mika's neck and realizes she was strangled with a clothes hanger. Conan is certain Mika's boss, Futou Midori, is the murderer but lacks the evidence to prove it. The Detective Boys search for the hanger and find out that a crow has taken it to make a nest. The police then convict Midori for Mika's murder. Midori reveals that Mika was going to abandon her to pursue a higher career even though Midori was the one who trained her to be a barber. Later that day, the Junior Detective League are attacked by crows who seek revenge for the stolen hanger.

The hairdresser is found dead by strangulation. The murder weapon is not found at the scene of the crime.

The Detective Boys are walking to a beauty salon, because Ayumi wants to get a haircut from her favorite hairdresser. However, they see her hairdresser, Mika Mitsui, arguing with the owner of the salon, Midori Goto, an argument that gets heated. Mitsui wants to leave the salon, and join a different one. However, the owner keeps begging for her to stay, because she believes that the hairdresser is the best one in the salon. Mitsui tells Ayumi that even though she is leaving the salon, that she can still get her hair done anytime she wants. She tells Ayumi to visit her apartment on Saturday morning, to get her hair done. The next Saturday, the Detective Boys go to the hairdresser's apartment, but find that she has been murdered.

Inspector Megure, Detective Takagi, and Officer Tome visit the apartment to investigate. She had been strangled, and a piece of blue plastic was found in her fingernail. Also, two pieces of dry cleaning were found, and one of the pieces of dry cleaning was missing its wire hanger. After the brief investigation, the owner of the salon is invited to identify the body. Conan notices her looking suspicious, and also notices that she keeps looking at the garbage in the apartment, as well as outside of the apartment. He also notices she has a large bandage on her hand. Conan deduces that the missing coat hanger is the murder weapon, and notifies the police. Megure and Conan both believe that the owner of the salon is the murderer, however, they cannot find the murder weapon.
