Episode 985: The Two Faces (Part One)

Scenario: A woman named Masako Muto is coming to Mori Kogoro detective agency. Masako is said to be looking for her husband, Issei Muto, who disappeared. The other day, Masako, who was driving her car to have lunch with a friend, saw her husband in a town that was not his place of work. She called out to him when he broke up with a strange woman he was with, but for some reason he ran away and she lost sight of him. Conan and Kogoro visit her husband's company from a business card at home, which was a fictional office virtual office used by young entrepreneurs to start their own businesses with cheap funds. What on earth was her husband doing....?

Kogoro is hired by a beautiful woman called Masako Muto, a housewife, to search her husband Issei Mutou, a company president. Kogoro and Conan then go to Muto's residence, but found nothing except Issei's name card. When Conan and Kogoro arrives to his "company", they discover that it was only a virtual company. Later, Masako hands over Issei's wallet found by the police to Kogoro, and using the receipt inside the wallet, Conan found out a place where Issei might be. It turns out to be a second-hand factory owned by Issei. When they finds Issei, he scares and says that he lied to his wife because he wasn't a company president, but a factory owner. Kogoro then says that he doesn't need to give up and that his wife still needs him, persuades him to return to his house with her wife and tell the truth. Masako then thanks to Kogoro for all and says that she is happy with her husband. But all the happiness go away in any time.
