Scenario: Genta's hand smells of ladies foundation. Conan deduces it has to do something with the case. Haibara tries to write on her face using her phone as a mirror, but fails miserably. She is also unable to erase the funny rings she accidentally drew on her face having used a permanent marker. Genta is asleep on the painting. He wakes up with a tiger mark on his face. Conan finds a convenience store receipt dated that morning under his sitting mat. Incidentally, Wakasa went to the convenience store in the morning because all the good food stuff runs out after school. As a result, she was late for school, which is a very rare case.

Episode 896: The Woman With White Hands (Part One)

Scenario: Rumi Wakasa's neighbour and a pro-golfer, Teigo Banno, who has just won big, is arguing with his girlfriend. He is moving to the US and wants to start with a 'clean slate'. He offers to break-up with her. His girlfriend and a model, Kurumi Iiyama, threatens him with lawsuit of 1 Million Yen relying on the power of her father, who is a lawyer. He calms her down and invites her to dinner to solve the feud. While she is leaving, he murmurs, "This will be our last supper together". Wakasa overhears their conversation from behind.

Conan is playing 'Ikku' in the school play, which happens the day after. Kobayashi-sensei, Rumi-sensei as well as Conan's classmates are astonished at his wonderful acting and delivery of his lines. It seems that Conan had played 'Ikku-san' as Shinichi before and his parents had trained him well. This is why, he missed several rehearsals as Conan as he remembered most of his lines.

During the clean-up and preparation for the play, Wakasa accidentally spills dirty water over her painting of the tiger. She says that she'd repaint it without any problem but the reference photo she used is in her apartment and she'd need Conan for correctly matching the size of the painting. Conan and the Detective Boys agree to accompany her to her apartment. During their arrival, they see a lady wearing a hat and sunglasses knocking at the door of Wakasa's neighbor. When her neighbour doesn't respond, she bangs on the door in rage, clicks her tongue and leaves. After the Detective Boys and Wakasa are done painting and having a meal served by Wakasa to show her appreciation, loud music starts playing at her neighbour's room. When the music doesn't seem to stop, Genta goes to complain and, to his astonishment, finds two people lying on the floor with a pool of blood below the lady's head. Conan, Wakasa and the others arrive.

The neighbour, Teigo Banno, gets up and is frightened. The bludgeoned victim was apparently his girlfriend, Kurumi. Megure arrives with his team and starts investigating. Teigo says that a lady with sunglasses and a hat came and made him unconscious with a stun gun. When his girlfriend came at the same time, she was killed. The culprit wrote 'I love you' on his face. The two polaroid photos lying next to him prove it. The Detective Boys try to convict the boyfriend for the murder but the evidence seems to be on his side. Wakasa finally mentions Teigo's encounter with his girlfriend in the morning.

Scenario: Kogoro wins a horse race with the price money being 100 times of the original bet, which turns out to be 1 Million Yen. But he admits that it is a ticket he accidentally picked up. Regardless, they go to the neighbourhood sushi restaurant to celebrate. There they meet Wakita who turns out to be proficient in deductive reasoning. He correctly predicts the horse Kogoro bet on just by listening to their conversation. While introducing himself, Wakita says that he is a detective maniac and that he struggles to stay at one place and is constantly moving. He wanted Kogoro to narrate some cases he had solved. It seems that Wakita has a 'bad' eye, much to the suspicion of Conan as an eligible 'Rum' suspect.

Meanwhile, a lady storms into the restaurant shouting that somebody stole her pouch. The pouch is found by the lady on the restaurant bathroom. She says that it was stolen on the train and that the culprit should have an injury to the wrist administered by her as she caught the hand of the thief on the busy train.

The thief most likely overhears the conversation and stole the pouch just for the winning ticket which pays a hundred fold.

Wakita seems to be getting competitive with Kogoro, who avoids going any further into the matter as it seems that the ticket he accidentally picked up was originally hers.

Scenario: Kogoro, Conan, and Ran arrive at a popular lakeside restaurant. On the table are five settings for dinners that have just been started, but the customers are missing. Later, Conan and friends find chef owner Kuchiishi bleeding from his head. When Kogoro asks about the missing customers, he points towards the back door. A note with the character for "curse" is posted on the door, and five sets of footsteps lead to the lake ten meters past it. Conan feels something is off about the crime scene and closes in on the truth behind the mysterious case.

Can Kogoro and Conan really notice the truth behind the bizarre incident at a restaurant run by Kuchiishi?

The letter said: "I'll be waiting in front of the large fox at the Yuda hot springs Station at 3 PM" signed Kurataya Komakichi. He suddenly exclaimed himself that he would be rich and woke up the whole train wagon making Ran and Conan a bit uncomfortable. They later arrived at the Shin-Yamaguchi Station and again, Kogoro exclaimed himself that they arrived in Yamaguchi. Because they had plenty of time before the meeting started, they decided to do sightseeing but Kogoro ran into Natsume Asuka, a Yamaguchi news site reporter at Yamaguchi Shimbun and she gave him her business card. When she asked Kogoro why they were in Yamaguchi, he said that they were only sightseeing not mentioning the mysterious letter from Kurataya Komakichi.

The riddle for the location of the third bomb is "the middle of 7." Conan and his friends think of things expressed in sevens and what the middle of those things might be. In a week, it's Thursday. In a rainbow, it's green. In a musical scale, it's fa. Overwhelmed by the number of possibilities, Kogoro holds his head in his hands. At the police station, they begin searching for places, companies, and schools corresponding to Thursday, Green, and fa, but Conan reasons that Hirukawa's target lies elsewhere.

Takuji, disguised as a Police Officer, interpellated the two employees in their van and made it explode to get the money inside.

Scenario: A package consisting of a smartphone and a print proof of a book entitled Grandpa Tick Tock and the Three Clocks by Kenichi Imai was deivered to the Mouri Detective Agency. Meanwhile, an explosion on a pachinko named Sandcastle happened on a gloomy weather.

The connecion of the seemingly unrelated explosion and the delivery was revealed to be related after a call on that smartphone mocked Kogorō and hints again on another bomb at a certain block in Haido City. The book has a riddle that is related to the case: on a bus station, five people are waiting. A bus with three passengers arrived. Two passengers get off the bus at the next stop while a passenger rode the bus. How many are the people on the bus when it arrived at its destination?

Kogorō then called Inspector Megure about the issue, and Kogorō, Ran and Conan went into the place. Immediately after they arrived, Inspector Megure asked the police to find the said bomb and called Inspector Takagi, showing a possible suspect: a bomber named Takuji Hirukawa. Then, Inspector Chiba, with the publisher named Hiroyuki Tomonaga, checked the book which was stolen and narrated what happened. The author of the book, Kenichi Imai tried to enter a book contest when a rumor about his half-brother, identified as Takuji, was posted to the internet causing him to withdraw the contest. After his death, Hiroyuki have tried to publish the book, however the print proof was retrieved by his half-brother, who attacked him to make the attempt successful. The bomb was found and still incomplete.

An attempted explosion that was apparently made due to hatred at the "detective" who posted incriminating information about him and his half-brother. The bomb was disposed safely by Kogoro before it was apparenlty stopped.

With the help of Shinichi and his friends, Shuichi narrows down the suspects to Fukumizu Shigekatsu, Kitamori Yasue, and Oami Raiya. The police detective decides to question the three of them, and Shuichi determines which of them is the robber based on their testimony.

The Akai family also encountered Shinichi, Ran and Yukiko who also happened to be there. Shinchi introduce himself as "Holmes Apprentice". All of them end up being involved in a case where two robbers robbed a watch shop with one of them accidentally got killed in an accident, and the other was still on the run.

When the vehicle crashed into the guardrail, the driver's head smashed into the windshield, breaking his cervical vertebrae in the process. The man was killed upon impact.

Scenario: The Detective Boys were hiking in the forest and were going to visit a lighthouse when the storm bursted. They decided to hide under a the solar panels of a greenhouse and have been spotted by the greenhouse's manager who brought them to the nearby Otaguro mansion. They were welcomed by Saburo and Yoshimoto, the maid. They were then informed about the head of the family (Otaguro-san) who have had early encounters of a ghost that appeared like a yellow glowing light. Just after, the mysterious glowing light in question appeared and frightened the Detective boys and it was interrupted by the arrival of Hideto Amemiya who led them visit his lab and explained them the past accident of the late Mrs. Otaguro.

Conan and the Detective Boys get stranded in the rain and take shelter in a nearby mansion. Upon entering, it is learned the master of the house's wife died several months ago and he believes he is seeing her ghost!

She belittles and abuses another client (Tomoyo), the shop assistant in charge (Reia) and her assistant Ayami. Few later, Ritsuko is found strangled to death and bleeding in the dressing room. Conan and Masumi check on the corpse and realize that she left some dying clues, and Conan recalls more and more of the old incident that he's been thinking about through the shopping trip.
