Scenario: While Conan is supposedly home with cold, Detective boys, at Kobayashi-sensei's request, visit their absent classmate, Maria, where they find her granny's 'treasure hunt'. Meanwhile, rumors run rampant on social media that Shinichi is still alive and had been involved in Kyoto 'tengu' case, resulting in reporters flocking to Kudo's house.

After the school trip, the case that occurred back at Kyoto attracts global attention, and someone claims that the apparently dead Shinichi Kudo helped to solve the case. Hyoue Kuroda, Kanenori Wakita, and Rumi Wakasa (who is revealed to have access to the APTX victim list) all take notice of this.

Maria Higashio hasn't come to school today and Kobayashi sends Haibara and the Detective Boys to her home to see how she's doing and if everything's all right.

Maria Higashio hasn't come to school, which is quite weird, and her parents didn't notify Kobayashi about the reason of her not coming to school.

Meanwhile, Conan, bed-ridden with a cold, enjoys Ran's agreement to hook up. He goes to see Professor Agasa and reads in the news that someone saw Shinichi at Kyoto and on TV. He starts being very nervous and asks Haibara and Heiji about it, while Ran, Sonoko, and Masumi read it as well. The media overrun Heiji and Shinichi's high schools, and Shinichi's house, although Okiya denies them entry. The Detective Boys believe Maria went to her late paternal grandparents' house and took part in the scavenger hunt they organized for her. Haibara helps the Detective Boys to follow the arrows and understand the messages. As they followed the clues, they arrive in a room where a bookshelf was knocked over, and fear Maria might be stuck under it. But it's not the case and there is instead another code to decipher.

Scenario: Naruse asks Kogoro to search for his girlfriend Kaho, who suddenly disappears. After this, Kaho's sneakers and My Number card with a photo were found on the bridge, and Kogoro jumps down to the river and reasons that she committed suicide. Shio, a college student in newspaper delivery, was filming a long-haired woman jumping off a bridge. It is also revealed that Kaho came to the scene in a taxi driven by Maki. Conan searches for the point of contact between Kaho's suicide and the accident of a female college student who fell to her death from park stairs three months ago.

Jun Naruse, Kaho's boyfriend, went to Mouri Detective Agency to ask the great detective to help him find his girlfriend, with whom he wanted to by rings with but vanished.

At 5:30 AM, Tetsuya Ushio, a passerby, saw Kaho jumping off the bridge to commit suicide and recorded the video before calling the police. The video is mysteriously precise, which brings suspicions on Ushio, and Maki Ohara, a taxi driver, comes at the crime scene also raising suspicion instead on her.

While Kogoro grabbed Conan to teach him a lesson, Takagi fell on the sidewalk and pushed the great detective by accident, which made him lose grip of Conan. Conan then fell into the river but hopefully was saved by Maki Ohara, who jumped into the river to save him.

Three months ago, a man attacked a lady in a park by pushing her off the stairs. While the police ruled it as an accident, the family of the victim still believes the man exists.

Scenario: Conan and his friends come to a lodge and fossil museum in Gunma to go on a fossil finding trip. Journalist Miyashita Umika also arrives at the lodge. She explains that she has come to write a story on the rare moon's droppings fossil that was discovered in the town. Museum owner Ogami and village mayor Nakatani are planning to make the fossil the town's village in order to promote it, but Umika mutters that she hopes it doesn't become a negative symbol. Later, Ogami is interrupted while trying to tell something to Umika, and his dead body is discovered in the bathroom.

For the last few days, both had been lying about finding Moon's droppings in their excavation site although they never did. They did this to attract visitors to their village and make a revitalisation. Unfortunately, a freelance journalist has doubts about their fib and wants to get in touch with them at the excavation site.

After going to the toilet, Ogami disappears. Later, Haibara and Ayumi go to the washroom before finding Ogami dead. Conan arrives and detects the odor of almonds concluding Ogami has been poisoned.

Episode 936: Intrigue at the Food Court

Scenario: While Professor Agasa is on a trip to Hokkaido and Conan in Singapore, the Detective Boys go to the Beika Central Park, where a coupled food event, the Beika City Farmer's Market, and a police event, where Inspector Megure is to give a speech, are taking place, since Genta is especially interested in an offer which promises free food for gradeschoolers and younger. However, they become unwitting earwitnesses to a conversation which bears a rather sinister tone.

While talking about going to the farmer's market event at Beika Park, the Detective Boys see a food truck for the restaurant Marina where three people were talking. They eavesdrop the conversation and hear the members planning to have an explosive time. Is there really a bombing happening?

In order to catch them in flagranti, the Detective Boys split up, each of them following one suspect: Genta follows Yamawaki, Ayumi goes after Kanno, and Mitsuhiko shadows Kadokura. However, despite all precautions, Ayumi and Mitsuhiko are noticed and approached by their suspects. Thus confronted, they tell the kids that there isn't any bomb, that they're working at a local restaurant, and that they were just trying to gather the necessary material for the dish they'll prepare for the Market as an advertisement: Singapore's national dish, Chicken Rice. They serve it to the Detective Boys as an exception to dispel all suspicions. As the Detective Boys leave, they run into Sato and Takagi, whom they tell about these friendly people.

Scenario: The body of strangled fortune teller Barbara Sadako is discovered in an old building. On her computer is a text document with the words, "I was nearly killed again. Which one of those three did it? Is it K? Is it E? Is it S?" Former construction worker Kanawa Shinsuke, officer worker Endo Fukami, and former ramen restaurant owner Sazanami Ryoichi emerge as suspects, all of whom had miserable experiences as a result of Sadako's fortune telling. Evidence suggesting all three did it is discovered one after another, but Conan finds it strangely convenient that evidence incriminating all three of them was found.

Famous fortuneteller Barbara Sadako was found murdered in her own house. Moreover, there are evidences suggesting that three people, all possess vendetta against her fortunetelling, are involved in this crime. Who among the three is the real culprit?

Because the victim was a well-liked fortuneteller, the police are able to narrow down the list of suspects to three people: Shinsuke Kanawa, Fukami Endo, and Ryoichi Sazanami, all of which have grudge against the victim for supposedly gave the fortune that had instead brought them misfortune. Additionally, all three of them each has their own possession involved in the crime: Endo's broach was found in the same room that Baba was discovered, Kanawa's lighter was found in the park she was strangled, and Sazanami's car was used to transport the victim's body from the park to her house.

Scenario: Kogoro is hired by four different clients to perform the same job: protect the racing horse White Spirits, which Conan finds strange. White Spirits is transported by trailer to the track in order to race, but when the trailer arrives, the horse that comes out of it is a different horse that looks a lot like White Spirits. Kogoro becomes discouraged when the media blast him and the police for allowing White Spirits to be kidnapped on their watch, leaving Conan to solve the case.

A day later, a blanket that was used to cover White Spirits was found stained with blood by an anonymous tip. Was White Spirits really killed?

Scenario: Kogoro is hired by three different clients to perform the same job: protect the racing horse White Spirits. Conan believes there's more to these requests than meets the eye. Later, Kogoro meets with company president and owner of the horse Tokuyoshi to explain the situation. After hearing his story, Tokuyoshi also hires Kogoro to perform the same job. The next day, White Spirits is transported by trailer to the track in order to race, but... when the trailer arrives, the horse that comes out of it is a different horse that looks a lot like White Spirits.

After accepting Kogoro's plan to bring White Spirits to Okuho Stables, Tokuyoshi organizes a procession to bring White Spirits to safety but, while on route, the horse disappears after the truck transporting it turns left in a construction site. They then learn that Masao Shiomi was the culprit and led White Spirits escape in another truck that was parked in the fake construction site because he was forced to.

Someone kidnapped Shiomi's family and threatened Masao that if he didn't carry out the kidnapping plan, his family will be killed. They were then freed after the plan worked.

Scenario: Kogoro arrives in Okura, Fukuoka with Conan and Ran. Kogoro's senior and company president Fukamachi accidentally fell and is unconscious in the hospital. Managing director Kiriyama hires Kogoro to catch the culprit who graffitied the office. Meanwhile, Ran meets suspected vandal and Fukamachi's son Torahiko. Torahiko insists he didn't do it and is conducting his own investigation into who pushed Fukamachi. Eager to solve the case, Kogoro gathers everyone involved including Torahiko at the office and begins explaining his reasoning.

After an injury to the knee three years ago, Torazo decided to walk in the parking lot to train himself everyday as part of his rehabilitation but a few days ago, he tripped and fell on the parking block which injured him. He is then still unconscious at the hospital and people suspect it to be in fact attempted murder.

Kiriyama had received life-threathening messages on a wall of his office while his boss was still unconscious. It is the driver Ukaji who found them.

Scenario: Kogoro arrives in Okura, Fukuoka with Conan and Ran. Company president Fukamachi, his senior from his days as an MPD police officer, accidentally fell, and he's unconcious in the hospital. Managing director Kiriyama hires Kogoro to catch the culprit who graffitied the office. If Fukamachi is unable to return to work, Kiriyama will become the next president. Kiriyama believes Fukamachi's son Torahiko graffitied in the office in order to prevent that. Kogoro investigates the graffiti, but the possibility that Kiriyama pushed Fukamachi arises.

Episode 930: A Woman Standing by the Window (Part Two)

Scenario: Saki, who may have incurred the enmity of Tatsuko, Tachibana, and Michiyo, dies after falling from her apartment. Conan determines her death was not a suicide but a murder. He deduces that Saki was blackmailing one of the three using something she witnessed, and they killed her in order to keep her quiet. Conan and his friends tell Detective Takagi about the three suspects, and since Tatsuko has an alibi, he goes to question the other two. The police believe Michiyo murdered Saki after her secret was discovered, but something doesn't seem right to Conan.

The next day, the Detective Boys head to the crime scene and meet Megure, Takagi, and Chiba who are intrigued by their presence. They also meet Naka Nakabayashi, who tells them she witnessed Saki being pushed by someone the day before but that she didn't know who it was and that she's had enough of crimes before leaving the scene. They also see Towa Akabane, who lives in room 202, who just returned from a trip and that sees the crime scene too before heading to her room in disgust. Tatsuko Dojima, who witnessed Saki falling asks the police to leave since she's exhausted and returns home. Tachibana and Konno also head home after visiting the crime scene thinking Midorikawa committed suicide. The Detective Boys explain the situation to the police and tell them she was most likely murdered and that there are three suspicious people who looked highly towards her. Megure agrees to visit the three to interrogate them and Ogi opens the automatic door for them. At Tachibana's room, they interrogate him to find out he received a threathening letter from Saki about not telling anything to the police which rises the police's suspicions before Tachibana reveals he's in fact bald and that he hides it under a wig. He tells he has an alibi since he was at the bar at the time the attempted murder was committed and that when he took off his wig in front of the bay window, Saki saw his bald head and sent him the letter the next day. Second suspect was Michiyo Konno who reveals to the police she's in fact a man named Daihachi Numagaki and that to avoid being arrested for murder, he'll reveal his criminal acts. He is the one who pushed her in the street but he didn't kill her and that Saki has seen him as a man through his window while he was drinking beer and taking off his disguise. He wanted to scare her so he pushed her to hide the fact he was pretending to be Michiyo Konno and that he was frauding the trading firm. He is arrested by the police for attempted murder and fraud and says he was at home when she was killed and that he also received the letter. He replies negatively as the police ask him if he drugged her before pushing her since sleeping pills were found in her body and tells that he didn't drug her. Genta then agrees that he must be the culprit but Conan wonders about the letter and the phone call. Ayumi adds that Saki must have seen the culprit's secrets while she was over since after all she said: "So, they seem to have a friend over!". Conan asks what friend it might be and Mitsuhiko thinks that maybe Saki thought Daihachi was someone else since he was dressed in a different way. At the same time, a police car comes and Towa Akabane heads out of the building running towards the cops and yeling that she's the one from room 202 who called for the police and that she was robbed while she was travelling and that all her jewels were gone when she returned. Conan remebers the lady passing in front of the crime scene and thinks about the friend Saki mentionned which make him deduce something and he runs to Saki's apartment with the rest of the Detective Boys behind.

Towa Akabane had been robbed all her jewelries while travelling and her apartment was ransacked.

Saki had blackmailed people she's seen from the window since three years ago to pay off her boyfriend's debt.

When they arrived to the apartment, Hiroe Omori, the landlady, led them in with Takagi also. From the balcony of Saki's room in her apartment, Conan notices he can see all the apartments of the residential building ending with "2" and sees Akabane in her room talking with the police. The Detective Boys then conclude Saki must have seen the thief of Akabane since she doesn't work in the morning. Haibara notices the apartment is rather simple for someone blackmailing people and Ayumi sees a picture frame with someone holding Saki, probably her boyfriend. They learn from the landlady that the boyfriend left Saki three years ago because he couldn't leave out of his debts and left them to Saki. Conan realizes she started blackmailing people because she wanted to pay off her boyfriend's debts and that was why she lived rather modestly. Omori also says that Saki always believed her boyfriend would return to her someday and believed in him. She started to sit in the window so she'll be there to see him come back and always look everywhere around to see him return one day. Conan asks Omori if she had told anyone else and she says she had told a female detective about it last night and that that detective asked her to tell her all about it since her investigation about Saki was important. Conan then realizes who killed Saki and asks Takagi to return to the building so he'll expose the truth.

Scenario: In an unexpected turn of events, Ayumi becomes friends with Saki. Conan and his friends learn of Tazuko, Tachibana, and Michiyo, all of whom view Saki in a baleful way. They then learn all three of their apartment buildings can be seen from Saki's window. Tazuko's apartment is in a blind spot, but Conan and his friends believe it's possible Saki has seen Tachibana and Michiyo's secrets from her window. However, after questioning the three of them, they learn none of them hate Saki.

One day, as Ayumi runs in the street, she hurts herself when she falls so a lady walking nearby, Saki Midorikawa, goes to help her and bring her home in her apartment to heal her and offers her orange juice. Ayumi thought she was nice. Saki then went to the window to smoke and look over the building in front of hers.

After the Detective Boys leave Saki, they think about solving a case and just at the same moment, a car out of control parades in the street before crashing in the building next to the gym where Saki trains.

Just after going to the sports center, Saki returns home and waits at a streetlight before being pushed by Daihachi Numagaki and yells. The Detective Boys hear what happens and go help her. She nearly got ran over by a truck.

The next morning, Ogi is standing outside the building waving goodbye to residents and sees Dojima searching for something on the floor. As she says she hasn't find it, Saki's corpse fall from the top of the building before crashing down.

Episode 928: The Scarlet School Trip (Crimson Love Arc)

Scenario: Shinichi solves the ciphers and is able to catch the culprit while he attempting to kill Mayama. It turns out Agata was trying to avenge Dekuri's suicide. Dekuri originally wrote the plot for the film in a comic during college and asked to be credited for the movie. Dekuri had killed himself because his name was mistakenly not included during the first screening, and Agata believed Nishiki, Ihaya, and Mayama had done it purposely. It was revealed that because of some restrictions, instead of listing his name separately, Dekuri's name was intended to be formed with the kanji or the rest of the film crew's name, and the spacing was fixed for the film's release. Shinichi returns to his classmates, and asks Ran for her response to his confession in London. Ran kisses him on the cheek, and as Shinichi is about to kiss Ran, he feels the APTX 4869 medication wearing off and has to run off, hiding in Hattori's backpack. Sera seems convinced Shinichi and Conan are one and the same regardless and is shown calling Mary and telling her an APTX 4869 antidote seems to exist. Conan hitches a ride back to Tokyo with Hattori, and Ran and Shinichi confirm over text that they're now dating.

A few days before the murder spree in Kyoto, one of the previous members of the filming team who had wrote the first version of the story (in manga) killed himself by throwing himself from the top of the Kiyomizu dera shrine after he thought he was forgotten by the others (Mayama, Agata, Nishiki, and Ihaya) since they didn't put his name in the credits or so what he thought.

Scenario: Haibara decides to give Conan the APTX 4869 antidote for his school trip under the conditions that he wait 8 hours between doses, have a plan so people don't notice him changing back into Conan, and to not stand out as Kudo Shinichi. On the trip, Shinichi runs into Kurachi Keiko, an actress who knows his mother, and she invites him to help her solve a cipher. Shinichi and the others meet the film crew who are there with Kurachi working on a film about a tengu - the actor Ihaya Shinya, the director Mayama Mineto, and the composer Agata Riki. The scriptwriter, Nishiki, got the cipher in the mail and they find out the cipher's creator, Dekuri, committed suicide recently. Shinichi and the others leave to work on the cipher while the film crew goes to dinner, but Shinichi soon receives a text from Kurachi and they come back to find Nishiki murdered in his room alone with another cipher that the murderer left. While beginning to investigate, Shinichi feels the medicine wearing off and returns to his room. It's revealed that Shinichi asked Hattori to help him by switching places with him at night while in bed. Because of Shinichi's classmates' teasing, Hattori uses the bow tie voice changer and says Shinichi and Ran kissed in London. Everyone runs to Agata's room to find a tengu on his ceiling that vanishes when he throws an ashtray at it. Later, Shinichi and the others bump into Momoji, whom they previously met in Kyoko, when meeting the film crew for lunch. Everyone, except the film crew, is drawn outside when several people in tengu masks run around the street. When they return, they find Ihaya dead just outside the restaurant with another cipher.

Shinichi eventually manages to take part to the Kyoto trip with Ran and their friends, thanks to the series of antidotes Haibara gave Conan. Each time Conan takes an antidote, he has to wait 8 hours after the back shrinking before taking another one. Shinichi and Ran secretly hope that Ran will give an answer to Shinichi's love declaration back in London. On the Kiyomizu-Dera, Shinichi meets Keiko, an actress and old friend of his mother, who stays in the same hotel as Shinichi and his class, with some university friends with which she shot a blockbuster revolving around a tengu and other monsters. She asks Shinichi to help her to decipher a mysterious code written and sent by their late friend Michio Dekuri, who committed suicide some time ago. The code was received by Nishiki, the movie's screenwriter, along with red aralia leaves, typical from Kyoto. Shinichi tries to solve it, while enjoying Kyoto with his friends, in particular Masumi, who knows Conan is Shinichi but still keeps it a secret. The group of friends visit Kyoto's temples and their gruesome crimson ceilings, that were at first the temple's floors spilled with the blood of samurais who committed mass suicide/seppuku and left many footprints, it was so astounding that the floors were kept and turned into ceilings.

After Nishiki meets with the others to show the riddle, he dies less than an hour later and is seen stabbed dead on the floor. Around him are scattered sheets of the screenplay, labels and a new riddle. On his forehead have been made two bumps and on the ceiling was a blood pond (in fact red paint painted beforehand except for a few droplets of real blood) and footsteps leading to the exterior of the room as if it was a tengu's doing.

Just and hour after Nishiki's murder, Agata is seen screaming in his room which alerts everyone. They gather at the door and get it unlocked by the bellhop before seeing inside Agata on the floor with two bumps on his head and screaming for help at a tengu on the ceiling. He then throws his ashtray at it before it explodes and vanished. The next day, Agata slowly recovered from the injury and there wasn't any new riddle.

After a hord of people disguised as tengus disturb the group (Shinichi, Nakamichi, Ran, Sonoko, Momiji and Masumi), they fight them before finding out that someone on a website was paying them 100 thousand Yen. As they feared it was the culprit's actions to distract them, they head back to the restaurant and find out it was too late: Ihaya was dead, lying upside-down on the Inuyarai where there were the same footprints as in Nishiki's room.

Scenario: Conan, the Detective Boys, and Amuro continue to search for the phone strap. It starts to rain in the parking lot of the restaurant they were in, and Genta puts up his hood which makes his Detective Boys badge drop out of the hood. After they find the father and son from the train, someone runs out and steals the strap from them. Conan and the Detective Boys track him down and find out that the man stole it because he hid an engagement ring in it. Conan realizes Haibara's strap had also fallen into Genta's hood with his badge and must be in the restaurant parking lot. They find it under a car and return it to Haibara.

They successfully locate the the boy and his father at the beach. The two are glad to have the situation resolved and take out the Higo phone strap to give to Conan. Suddenly, the mysterious man appears and swipes it out of his hand.

Scenario: As Conan and the Detective Boys are leaving a soccer game, Conan asks Haibara to give him some APTX 4869 antidote so he can go on the school trip but she refuses because of how many times she's had to bail him out before when he's run into trouble. While on the train, the train makes a sudden stop making Haibara lose her phone strap and Genta drop his Detective Boys badge. Conan and the Detective Boys enlist Amuro to help them search for Haibara's strap. Mitsuhiko's phone accidentally started filming when the train stopped, and they are able to use the footage to see a father and son who had picked up the strap.

Conan unsuccessfully tries to convince Haibara to give him a couple antidotes in order to go to the Kyoto trip with Ran as a high schooler. Suddenly, Haibara finds out she lost the Higo puppet phone strap she bought at the stadium store. It was particularly precious to her because Ryusuke Higo touched it in the bleachers during the football match. She freezes in disbelief and collapses against the wall.

As the train arrives in Beika Station, it stops roughly, making everyone fell. After the Detective Boys disembark and go back to Agasa's house, Haibara notices that her phone strap has disappeared. Is it robbery or simply lost?

Conan makes a deal with Haibara: he'll go and with the Detective Boys to find her phone strap, in exchange for the antidotes. Conan and the Boys are helped by Amuro and rush to the train stations' lost and found, all while being spied on by a strange man.

Scenario: Conan, Ran, and Sonoko go to a tangerine farm located in a mountainous region within the prefecture in order to pick fruits. Farm manager Terauchi Tetsuji scolds Sokono for carelessly picking and damaging his tangerines. Conan and his friends are treated to a variety of tangerine-based dishes at the Terauchi family home. At the recommendation of Tetsuji's wife Nobuko, they head up to the top of the mountain to watch the sunset. Just as they're finished watching the sunset, they see Tetsuji riding the agricultural monorail up the mountain.

At night, Ran, Sonoko, and Conan were watching the sunset on the hill and they saw Tetsuji go up on the mechanical trolley and waving at them before falling at the bottom of the cliff. Conan rushes to the scene and find him dead along with Naoya who had seen him fall from the house.

Scenario: Mitsuhiko, Genta, Ayumi, and Haibara discover the body of serial blackmailer KUMO at a construction site. Conan is visiting the hot springs with Kogoro and learns about the case when Mitsuhiko contacts him. The Detective Boys witnessed a tall man fleeing the crime scene around the time the murder took place. The police believe KUMO was blackmailing ten men and one woman. However, all 11 of them have alibis, and the investigation comes to a standstill. When Conan hears about the situation, he notices a few inconsistencies.

The Detective Boys were spying on a mysterious man and followed him after seeing him running from the construction site. They decide to inspect the site to see what might have happened and see the dead body after which they call the police immediately and Conan which couldn't come.

Throughout the years, Unmo had blackmailed ten men and a woman which was found on his computer.

Episode 922: The Disappeared Detective Boys

Scenario: Conan, Mitsuhiko, Genta, Ayumi, and Haibara discover counterfeit ten thousand yen bills and a phone in the park. While Conan is calling Inspector Megure, Haibara, Mitsuhiko, Genta, and Ayumi follow counterfeiter Bella Hikifune, who has come to the park to collect the counterfeit bills and phone. However, they are detected and captured by Bella. Conan contacts Haibara using her Detective Boys badge, deduces that they are being held inside a moving container truck, and goes after them. Haibara questions Tatsumi, who is being held inside the same container.

In Japan, Bella's mafioso group had been falsificating paper money from Japan and trying to make them circulate. After their plan had failed, they tried to retrieve them back to Italy to evitate japanese justice but some were leaked out by Tatsumi which is why Bella is still in Tokyo, Japan searching for them.

The Detective Boys were in one of Beika's neighborhood eating and saw an old lady lose a bill which was taken over by the wind. It then pushed it to the park where Bella was and she took it while retrieving the other counterfeits that Tatsumi spilled there which was witnessed by the detective boys who started to chase after them.

After chasing Bella who was retrieving her bills in the park, the Detective Boys (without Conan) arrive to a dead end where they were caught by Bella and her henchmen who drugged them to make them sleep. Earlier, Tatsumi had been running after leaking out some of the bills he fabricated so he could pay his debts and get some orange juice but was cornered in a container and drugged by the mafiosos who also put the kids inside.

Scenario: Kogoro, Conan, and Ran's rental car runs out of gas, so they have college student Saeki tow them to a nearby supermarket with his van. Saeki and his classmates Haruka and Tamada leave their drunk professor Goto in the back stea while they go shopping. Later, the students discover Goto dead inside the car. Goto wore his cell phone on a strap around his neck, which strangled him when he slid down in his seat. Inspector Megure believes it was an accident, but Conan finds something strange about the case

As the group who helped Ran and Kogoro tow their car return to their van, they found the body of their professor who had been strangled to death after his neck had been tangled with his phone strap while he was sleeping.

Scenario: Kogoro and Conan notices that Ran has behave strangely. Kogoro suspects that Shinichi is seducing Ran, and while Conan knows that it can't be the case, they decide to follow her. They see Ran, Sonoko and Masumi who are having some lunch at Café Rice Flower, all the while marvelling at the pictures of a travel guide about a trip to Kyoto.

As Ran was going to reveal what was the trip to kyoto, the restaurant's customers and employees hear the sound of Isuzu Naomura yelling. They hurry to the locker room and find Daiki dead.

Episode 918: The Mini Patrol Car Police's Big Chase

Scenario: The Detective Boys went to an eel warehouse's exhibit where there was a huge country fair at Genta's recommendation. Professor Agasa had asked them to bring some eels back so he'll cook them but, at the fair, Genta goes to the washroom and disappears. The Detective Boys search for him until they go to the loading deck and see Genta in a van gagged and attached by two mysterious kidnappers. They run after it and just got by Yumi and Naeko's mini-patrol car and tell them to follow the truck since Genta is inside and has been kidnapped. Luckily, they are able to follow the truck with Conan's criminal tracking glasses and Genta's detective boys' badge. They were almost at the car's location when they found out it was stuck in a traffic jam. Yumi decides to use her megaphone to make all the cars move and then yells from her location to the kidnappers who understand they were followed and run away with the van with the mini-car chasing after not far away but, at a railway crossing, they get separated from the van so Conan uses his badge to contact Genta who had taken off the tape covering his mouth but, the kidnappers heard their conversation and break Genta's badge.

As Genta went to the toilets of the exhibit, he witnessed the two kidnappers discussing and since he heard important clues, they kidnapped him.

They then think of a way to cut them off at their transactions' location place since they heard the kidnappers were in fact diamond sellers that made an illegal deal at the eel exhibit and that they'd conclude the deal at the harbor since the last known location of their car was towards the harbor before they lost track of them. They needed to do it quickly and save Genta since the kidnappers planned to kill Genta after the transaction. Conan then remembers the kidnappers were communicating in the exhibit using hand signs. Mitsuhiko thinks of the signs' meaning being a gun since they pointed towards a third member of the group, Shintaro Horikawa (probably the boss), with their thumb and their index finger. He remembers back the case of the counting system (burning tent case) and Haibara talking about the english counting system. Mitsuhiko then start another deduction and think about it being the european system so the fingers should be making "two" and "one" which means they were probably heading to warehouse 21 of the harbor. Still, as they were heading towards this direction, Conan was intrigued and thought something was wrong about the counting system thing.

Scenario: During the lunch break of the National High School Spring Kendo Tournament Heiji is attending, referee Nukitani has his throat slashed, and Nenji, Tsuneyuki, and Akane, who were in the bathroom near the crime scene, are the three suspects in the case. Detective Sato examines their belongings, but she's unable to find the box cutter that is the murder weapon. Based on the suspects' possessions, new testimony from Katsunari, the blind old man at the crime scene, the kendo uniform worn by the culprit, and information from the forensics team, Heiji determines who killed Nukitani and what they used to kill him

Akane confesses wanting to prank Shido since she resented him but didn't want to kill him.

Episode 916: Kendo Tournament of Love and Mystery (Part One)

Scenario: Conan, Ran and Kazuha came to Toto Stadium, Tokyo, to watch Heiji's important kendo competition. As Heiji wins a fight with verve, his rival follows him closely behind : Soshi Okita, Shinichi's lookalike he met during a previous case. Heiji says to himself he can't but get even with Okita today, he has to win, for Kazuha. Meanwhile, Momiji and Iori are on the phone, Iori informing Momiji of Heiji's high rankings in the competition, while Momiji asks him if everything is ready for the "little party" after Heiji's victory. Iori adds Heiji may confront Okita and another kendo practitioner, "as strong as a demon".

Nukitani swallows some digestion medicine as a Kyoto Senshin kendo student comes up to him. Nukitani says he expected someone to come along, as this garden serves as a training pitch for kendo fighters during pauses, and adds "he'd better not to do it for now, and not to damage the place". Suddenly, the kendo student grabs his sabre and slits Nukitani's thorat in one blow, in a flash, without him being just able to react. The murderer then turns around in fear as an old man sitting on a bench behind him says he heard a voice and asks if there's anyone around that could tell him what's happening. The murderer realises the old man is blind and spares his life, leaving the place.

Conan suggests they call the police and keep an eye on the bathroom, as the murderer may still be armed and has an accomplice. Conan is joined by a high school kendo practitioner he thought was Heiji but actually is Okita, who says Nukitani's absence of struggling reminds him of tsujigiris (wanton murders of random passers-by by samurais in the past, when they wanted to try out a new sabre's efficiency). He adds the sabre's blow was deadly, perfect and neat, the work of an expert. Okita introduces himself to Conan, saying he's from Kyoto Senshin kendo club - just like the murderer, something Conan is ignorant of.
