Episode 940: The Missing Girlfriend

Scenario: Naruse asks Kogoro to search for his girlfriend Kaho, who suddenly disappears. After this, Kaho's sneakers and My Number card with a photo were found on the bridge, and Kogoro jumps down to the river and reasons that she committed suicide. Shio, a college student in newspaper delivery, was filming a long-haired woman jumping off a bridge. It is also revealed that Kaho came to the scene in a taxi driven by Maki. Conan searches for the point of contact between Kaho's suicide and the accident of a female college student who fell to her death from park stairs three months ago.

Jun Naruse, Kaho's boyfriend, went to Mouri Detective Agency to ask the great detective to help him find his girlfriend, with whom he wanted to by rings with but vanished.

At 5:30 AM, Tetsuya Ushio, a passerby, saw Kaho jumping off the bridge to commit suicide and recorded the video before calling the police. The video is mysteriously precise, which brings suspicions on Ushio, and Maki Ohara, a taxi driver, comes at the crime scene also raising suspicion instead on her.

While Kogoro grabbed Conan to teach him a lesson, Takagi fell on the sidewalk and pushed the great detective by accident, which made him lose grip of Conan. Conan then fell into the river but hopefully was saved by Maki Ohara, who jumped into the river to save him.

Three months ago, a man attacked a lady in a park by pushing her off the stairs. While the police ruled it as an accident, the family of the victim still believes the man exists.
