Episode 957: The Mystery-Solving Water Taxi (Part Two)

Scenario: The body of Eiji Kadowaki, whose head was cracked, is found in Yonehana Park. Eiji, a problem child of the Kadowaki family, violently attacked his mother Yasuko, and it was rumored in the neighborhood that his brother Yuichi had stopped Eiji. It also becomes clear that a suspicious man was sniffing around the Kadowaki family. Inspector Megui suspects Yuichi's crime, but Yuichi had an alibi at the time of the crime. After this, the suspicious man turned out to be Takase, a student of Yasuko, a former elementary school teacher. Megui tells Takase that Yasuko's second son has been murdered and asks for an alibi at the time of her crime. Takase replies that he was trying to eat and drink for 3 hours at an izakaya. Around that time, a fire broke out at the Kadowaki family. Yuichi escapes, but Yasuko is found dead.

After interrogating Takase, the police get a call from officers stationed at the Kadowakis. When they arrive, the house was burned completely and Yasuko's dead body had already been brought by forensics. Yuichi was found uninjured.
