Episode 321: The Vanished Kidnapper's Getaway Car (Part 1)

Scenario: Conan and the Detective Boys go to visit Jun, one of their friend who is hospitalized. The boy wants to go to game room and asks his friends to help him sneak out. The children accept and Conan takes the place of Jun in the hospital. A man enters the room, however, believing that Conan is Jun kidnaps Conan and asks for a ransom from Jun's family. Once delivered the ransom, the police puts it in the van where he travels the kidnapper, but after being in a tunnel, it disappears into thin air as if it never was. Later Conan is kidnapped by a man named Tadashi Yoshizawa.

After Conan reluctantly agreed to swap place with Jun, he is kidnapped by an unknown person in the truck.

The kidnapper takes Conan to his hideout and locked him up in the old room. While locked in, Conan manages to bend lose a rusted old iron pipe belonging to the stairway railing to the door out. While first using the pipe on the door, Conan realizes his body lacks the strength to batter the door open and bends open an iron grating of a ventilation shack and crawls his way to freedom through it. Meanwhile the kidnapper picks up the ransom and manages to get away shortly before the Detective Boys with Jun returns from the arcade to his house to find the police there.
