Episode 672: Detectives' Nocturne (Kidnapping)

Scenario: Arriving at Katshitsuka's home, Ran receives a phone call from Masumi. The phone call receives noise which Tooru deduces to indicate the house is bugged. While Kogoro, Ran, and Tooru investigate the house, Conan notices Katshitsuka sneaking out and accompanies her for a drive. Meanwhile, Tooru finds a dead man in the apartment and realizes he was the one actually living there. Meanwhile, Katshitsuka drugs Conan to sleep and sends a ransom to Kogoro to prevent him from calling the police. The three at the apartment discover the victim has recordings of a recent bank robbery indicating he was related to it and that the victim of the bank robbery, Kenya Shouno, was the man in the picture with Katshitsuka. Ran tells Agasa to use the tracker to find Conan. Agasa, Haibara, and Subaru proceed to follow the signal. Meanwhile, Masumi also decides to search for Conan.

The group escort Kei Kashitsuka back to her condo. Kei goes to tidy up her room but secretly leaves the condo with Conan following her. While Kogoro, Ran and Amuro are waiting for Kei, they start searching for listening devices as when Masumi called Ran the former's voice wasn't clearly audible.

Locating the final listening device in a suitcase under the bed, Kogoro, Ran, and Amuro open it to find a man beaten to death inside it. Later they receive an email from Kei Kashitsuka that orders them not to attempt to find her or she won't guarantee Conan's safety.

Kashitsuka drugged Conan with a fruit juice laced with sleeping pills then sent a warning email to Kogoro that she will release him at dawn, unless they attempt to find her. Ran contacted Agasa for help while Kogoro and Amuro discovered more information.

A few days ago, a robbery was committed at the bank where Kenya Shouno, Kei Kashitsuka's older brother, worked. Kenya himself was shot by one of the robber when he attempt to stop them. The robbers' stolen money for total of 200 million yens has yet to be found.
